PRACTICE: Chris Pasteryak Sets Pace At White Mountain

NORTH WOODSTOCK, N.H. — Chris Pasteryak led the way as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour made its inaugural trip to White Mountain Motorsports Park.

The Lisbon, Connectictut, driver topped the one-hour practice session Saturday for the night’s race in his No. 75 Dawley’s Collision & Custom Chevrolet, with a lap of 11.616 seconds (77.479 mph) around the quarter-mile.

It was a late run by Pasteryak that put him back on top of the board and knocked Dave Sapienza to second. Sapienza had a fast lap of 11.648 (77.266). Timmy Solomito was third quick at 11.658 (77.200).

Eric Goodale was fourth and Andrew Krause fifth.

Anthony Nocella posted the sixth fastest, followed by Tommy Catalano, points leader Justin Bonsignore, John McKennedy and Matt Hirschman.

Qualifying for the Independence Day 200 is schedule for 6 p.m., with the race slated to take the green flag at 7 p.m. ET. The race will air live on TrackPass on NBC Gold.
