NTEA Work Truck Week 2022 Recap
We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth last week during NTEA’s Work Truck Week 2022 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Industry professionals were happy to gather in person for the first time in two years for North America’s largest work truck event. The turnout was amazing with over 12,000 in attendance, and many of you were excited to check out some of our most recent innovations, including the all-new Core-C™!
If you couldn’t attend in person, check out some of the highlights from this year’s show!
Introducing Core-C™
We were excited to unveil our newest product, Core-C, at Work Truck Week. Building upon our CenCom Core® vehicle control systems, Core-C is the first control system specifically designed with work trucks and utility vehicles in mind. With space-saving features like an all-in-one control head, Core-C’s compact footprint makes it easy to install in vehicles where space is limited. And despite its small size, Core-C is packed full of safety enhancing technology features like Vehicle-to-Vehicle Synchronization (V2V) and Dynamic Variable Intensity (DVI™) light patterns. This innovative technology brings an advanced level of safety to nighttime work zones by unifying light patterns and making it easier for motorists to navigate around work zones and parked vehicles. Whelen product manager Preston Tischer said conference attendees were excited about our newest addition. “There was a lot of interest in Core-C and all the capabilities it brings to work trucks and utility fleets. We were thrilled to see such a great turnout!” he said.
WeCanX® DUO™ Justice® Lightbar
Another product that generated a lot of buzz at the Whelen booth was the highly anticipated WeCanX® DUO™ Justice® lightbar. The new addition to the Justice lightbar family can now operate with two colors and has full WeCanX capabilities, making it easier to program and update.
Spotlight on Arges®
Arges® redefined remote spotlight safety and capability when it was first introduced in 2019. Since then, Arges continues to generate excitement with its unmatched speed, precision, and control. These unique features enable full command of an emergency scene or work zone, keeping the focus on the task at hand. Arges is CenCom Core and WeCanX compatible, allowing situational awareness and control in any situation.
It was a wonderful show, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year at Work Truck Week 2023!
